Eurovia member Thomas de Vaucleroy won NATO Allied Command Transformation’s Student Challenge 2026, answering how NATO should redesign its partnerships to sustain its technological edge. His winning O.P.E.N. Framework — Open Partnerships for Ecosystems and Networks — proposed decentralised innovation hubs, trusted partner certification, data trusts and agile governance to help the Alliance capture emerging technologies faster. General Aurelio Colagrande, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, praised ideas “from people willing to challenge assumptions and imagine new possibilities.”

Eurovia took part in the European Commission’s Brussels Economic Forum 2026 — one of Europe’s foremost annual conferences on economic policy and competitiveness — represented by President Oguzhan B. ARI with members Ceren Yelboğa and Lidya Tüysüz. The forum placed Eurovia at the centre of Europe’s economic dialogue, alongside figures such as 2025 Nobel Laureate Philippe Aghion, Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis and Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, with leaders from across policy, industry and academia.

At the European Parliament, Eurovia joined a high-level round-table bringing policymakers, institutional representatives and leading experts together to strengthen Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe projects — focusing on budgets, consortium-building, academic cooperation and mobility. Hosted by MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk, with MEP Laurence Farreng, Yıldız Technical University Rector Eyüp Debik and other EU representatives, Eurovia argued that every country should have equal access to European funding.
