Biography

Oguzhan B. ARI

He graduated from KU Leuven with a Bachelor of Business Administration and completed a minor in European Studies. Throughout his studies, he focused particularly on education, international student representation and European affairs. For three years, he served as president of an international student association at KU Leuven, organising numerous academic, cultural and community events, including a university solidarity initiative involving the university's former rector.

His academic thesis centred on the European Union's Horizon Europe programme. He later authored Guide to EU Funds and contributed to several Horizon Europe initiatives in coordinating and organisational roles.

After gaining experience as a founder, CEO and consultant in the private sector, he established Eurovia in 2024, guided by his belief in European cooperation and the value of bringing citizens closer to institutions. Since then, he has represented Eurovia as the Head Interest Group Representative at the European Parliament.

President's Message

"Europe's future should not be shaped for people, but with them."

Eurovia was founded on a clear conviction: European opportunities should not remain distant, complex or accessible only to a few. They should be understood, reached and shaped by people across borders.

Our role is to bring young people, professionals, institutions and civil-society leaders closer to the spaces where ideas become cooperation, policy and progress. We create pathways into EU programmes, education, international partnerships and public dialogue, while encouraging our members to contribute with knowledge, responsibility and ambition. Eurovia will work to strengthen Flanders and Europe as global centres of knowledge, innovation and enterprise, attracting exceptional students, entrepreneurs, researchers and scientific talent from around the world.

As Eurovia continues to grow, our direction remains firm. We will keep opening doors, building meaningful partnerships and ensuring that more people have the confidence, access and representation needed to make their voices heard.

Presidential Standard

The Eurovia Presidential Seal represents a presidency rooted in European values and committed to shaping Europe's future. Its sixteen outer stars bring together twelve core European values with four principles central to Eurovia, symbolising unity, solidarity, harmony and cooperation across borders.

The seven inner stars represent Eurovia's key priorities: education, defence, technology, integration, prosperity, sustainability and democratic cooperation.

The four ascending lines reflect Europe's progress through innovation, collaboration, integration; these three values together shape the fourth line — Eurovia.
